Sharma KSK Lachu spent nearly a decade in Australia before returning to Malaysia in 2008. During his time in Sydney, he worked for some of the largest HR consulting and technology firms and was in charge of state-of-the-art HR technologies and integrations in the space of talent measurement.
In his 16 years of experience in the industry, he has had the opportunity to work on HR technology projects in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia Indonesia and Thailand. Leaving his role as a senior consultant in Sydney, Sharma Lachu, founded Accendo Technologies and moved back to Malaysia as he recognised a market opportunity to help build organizational capability in this region. Since then, Sharma has driven Accendo forward with the mission to widen the use of data science in organizations. Sharma says, “Our ultimate goal is to widen the use of data science in Malaysia to elevate how people are managed and how work is done here. I cant stress enough that once we truly comprehend that people are the nucleus of work, data science solutions can be built to help complement and change the way businesses function and succeed.”

Jan Lambrechts is the CEO and founder EPITOME (formerly CXS International), a workforce-analytics company focused on preparing workforces for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and supporting the new norm of technology enabled learning and working. He has had a 20-year entrepreneurial career spanning five continents and was one of the early enablers of cloud (server-based) computing for enterprises in the late 90s for MNCs. Jan also co-founded a commercial cloud storage platform in mid 2000s.
Since the start of the organisation in 2016, EPITOME, through its modular talent solutions have deployed several national, private and institutional projects to assist global industries in transition while delivering to national policymakers and industry leaders the analytics they need to plan effectively, both for today, and for an uncertain future.
In the recent years, Jan was an invited a speaker and/or panellist in other notable global conferences such the World Economic Forum, World Bank and World Islamic Economic Forum sessions.
Jan Lambrechts was awarded as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in October 2018.
Chief Executive Officer, Innov8tif
Under the leadership of George Lee, Innov8tif has progressed from a self-funded enterprise software technology start-up, into a sustainable business which expended its footprint from home ground in Kuala Lumpur to Indonesia, Singapore and across Southeast Asia. Prior to founding Innov8tif, George was the Sales Director of a public-listed software company which specialised in enterprise collaboration solution. From 2009 to 2011, George also contributed to the inception of a US-incorporated commercial open-source software business a co-founder. As the Chief of Innov8tif, George does not just steer the ship in business strategy aspect, but always proven an effective communicator when it comes to people and stakeholder management.
Robin holds the position of Group CEO and is responsible for the overall performance of the Group. He has more than twenty eight (28) years of software design, development and management experience in the IT industry.
Robin is currently a member of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Talent Expert Network (TEN). He is also a mentor for the MDEC's Digital Counsellor Platform (DCP)
He graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science from University Science Malaysia. He started his career as a Software Solution Specialist where he was involved in designing and developing order fulfillment systems. He then joined an international company as ERP consultant. In 2000, he join a new start-up, InsiteMY as partner, he then move on to this current position as Group CEO.
In 2018, he co-foundered and CEO of OrangeFIN Asia, an AI-powered RPA startup that develop its own software AI robots, OrangeFIN Asia have since been helping a number of large banks and many SMEs to automate their repetitive, mundane and laborious task.
InsiteMY is principally involved in research, design and development of software for the banking industry. The Group’s key product i.e. INCHEQS, INGateway and INReport.
OrangeFIN is principally involved in research, design and development of software Robotic & AI related Intellectual Property. The Group’s key RPA product i.e. OrangeWorkforce, OrangeAI, OrangeVision and OrangeBots.
Wo Swee Teck

Wo Swee Teck is the Vice President of Regional Sales at Securemetric Technology – the leading PKI system enabler in ASEAN. Prior to joining Securemetric, Wo had amassed more than a decade of experience and expertise in the areas of Fintech and IT Security. With his passion for digital security and Fintech, Wo is a strong advocate of PKI solutions and the importance of building a common eco-system for secure identification across the ASEAN region.
Head of Business Development, Global Growth Acceleration Division at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDEC)
Ryan Chan is currently the Head of Business Development, Global Growth Acceleration Division at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDEC).
The Global Growth Acceleration (GGA) division at MDEC fuels high-potential Malaysian headquartered tech companies to skyrocket on the global stage through key interventions. Chan leads the business development initiatives and interventions, providing business expansion support to portfolio companies and developing business networks and "launchpads". In his portfolio, he has successfully led the team to design market expansion programmes and to build ecosystem networks in 12 countries to support the business expansion of Malaysian tech companies.
Prior to joining MDEC, he was the Chief Business Officer at ASX-listed iSentric Ltd where he built up the enterprise mobility business unit in the South-East Asia region. He also has entrepreneurial experience, having previously co-founded a company focusing on mobility solutions primarily serving customers in the e-banking and utilities sector. Before venturing on his entrepreneurial journey, he has held key business and technical roles in both local and regional software companies serving clients in the financial services sector.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Malaya and a bachelor’s degree in network computing from Monash University, Australia.
Ong Kian Yew
The National Tech Association of Malaysia
Ong Kian Yew is the CEO of PIKOM, the National Tech Association of Malaysia, an industry association representing over 1,000 active members that command 80% of the total tech business in Malaysia. As CEO, he is responsible for the operations of the association and its wholly-owned events arm, PIKOM Services Sdn Bhd.
Kian Yew is very active representing PIKOM at international fora including the World IT and Services Alliance (WITSA) and the Asian Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation (ASOCIO). He served as Secretary General of ASOCIO in 2013.
Kian Yew is also responsible for the government engagement in PIKOM. He sits on various committees representing the ICT industry and plays a key role in ICT industry advocacy to the government.
A graduate of the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, Kian Yew has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry.

Serena Chang joined Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (MDEC) in 2013. At MDEC, she is part of the Tech Ecosystem Globalisation team that champions the growth of the Malaysian tech companies, globally. Her work focused on increasing access and engagement between the Malaysia and Global tech ecosystem
Tan Kuan Thye
Head of Huawei Cloud Malaysia
Mr Tan Kuan Thye brings over 20 years’ experience in Telecom Industry, focusing on business solutions development and strategic collaboration with government and enterprise. He started his career journey as Solution Architect, led different digital transformation projects of different industries and pioneering the strategic collaboration profile during his service in Celcom.
He is now leading the Huawei Cloud business in Malaysia, to develop the effective action plans and strategy focus on enterprise digital transformation solutions and ecosystem building, to meet the ever-changing strategic business needs and client business requirements. One of his digital industry strategy plan to drive the Digital SME business transformation in collaboration with Malaysia government and industry partners.
His other contributions on digital industry transformation includes Philippines government on national broadband plan, Malaysia government on Digitalizing SME strategy plan and supporting Indonesia government on Digital Indonesia paper. He is also one of the appointed member for Sarawak Digital Economy COE core members
Low Wei Chung
Head of Ecosystem Development Huawei Malaysia
Wei Chung is currently the Head of Ecosystem Development of Huawei Cloud Malaysia, a strategic role that spearhead the partnerships with technology companies at levels, enable the cloud ecosystem, and integrates various product offerings and work with various partners to promote the cloud adoption. Wei Chung has more than 10 years of experience in the industry, and are one of the few early adopters and innovators in Cloud industry who has created impact in the market. . He is also among the pioneer who had actively working with the ISVs in developing IoT and AI solutions for various industries. Wei Chung is a strong believer in cloud and 5G are the keys for digital transformation, he is passionate in advancing the art & science of managing business ecosystem, and enjoy working with partners and customers from all fronts to realize the goals of cloudification.
